For remodelers, handymen & trades

Stop doing extra work on a "sure, go ahead."

Verbal yeses turn into "I never agreed to that" when the invoice arrives. Send a change order from your phone, and the homeowner signs it on theirs before you pick up a tool.

Questions

How is this different from DocuSign?

DocuSign is built for any document and charges by the envelope, which adds up quickly when you write several change orders a week. We're built only for change orders: line items, photos, schedule impact and a running contract total, at one flat price.

I already use Jobber or Buildertrend. Do I need this?

Probably not. This is for owner-operators who don't want to pay for (or learn) a full job-management suite and just need the extras signed.

Does the homeowner need to download anything?

No. They open a link in their phone's browser and sign with their finger or by typing their name.

Is an e-signed change order legally valid?

In the US, the federal ESIGN Act and state electronic-signature laws generally treat e-signatures like ink signatures, and the UK, Canada and Australia have similar rules. Each signature is recorded with a timestamp, device details and a fingerprint of the document. We're not lawyers, so check your state's contractor rules for anything specific.

Can I send it by text message?

Yes. Copy the signing link and paste it into the text thread you already have with your client. It arrives from your own number, so they know it's you.

When does it launch?

We're building it now. Waitlist members get access first, and the founding discount is locked in when you sign up.
